A 6.0 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of central Japan. Fortunately, no tsunami warnings have been issued.

On Tuesday, Japan was rocked by a powerful 6.0 magnitude earthquake. The tremors were strong, but thankfully, the Japan Meteorological Agency didn’t issue any tsunami warnings.



The quake’s epicenter was in the Sea of Japan, off the coast of central Japan. This is the same region that was hit hard by a massive earthquake on New Year’s Day. The aftershocks from that quake caused extensive damage and tragically took the lives of over 200 people. It’s a tough time for the people of Japan, who are still recovering from the New Year’s Day quake. Let’s keep them in our thoughts.
